Same company, same kind of business occasion, and we often get two very different requests in the office. One asks for an S-Class to take three employees to the airport at 5 a.m. The other asks for “any car” for the managing director of a foreign company who is flying in to sign a contract. In both cases the wrong thing gets paid for. Too much in the first, too little in the second, and it only shows later.
This is how we pick a vehicle at Pantas Limo when a booking enquiry comes in. We drive business clients in Belgrade every day, from single airport pickups to delegations that need several vehicles at once. For that we run five types of vehicle, all black: the Škoda Superb, the Mercedes E, S and V-Class, and the Mercedes Sprinter minibus. Each has its place. Once you know which, you save where saving is fine and spend where it counts.
In short: which vehicle for which occasion
- Škoda Superb: up to 3 passengers, black sedan, more rear legroom than the E-Class and the largest trunk of our sedans. For employees, internal rides and when the budget matters.
- Mercedes E-Class: up to 3 passengers, the standard for guests, partners and daily meetings. A professional impression without going over the top.
- Mercedes S-Class: up to 3 passengers, but at its best for one or two. When extra comfort, privacy or protocol is part of the brief.
- Mercedes V-Class: up to 7 passengers, or 6 in the more luxurious configuration with more room per person. Seats can face each other. For a team traveling together or two people with a lot of luggage.
- Mercedes Sprinter: up to 19 passengers, for delegations and shuttles. Needs a parking plan, because it will not fit most hotel underground garages.
All passenger capacities above and throughout this article exclude the chauffeur.
Three questions that decide most bookings
Before we mention a model, we go through three questions in the office. Answer them in your enquiry and the vehicle suggestion takes a couple of minutes.
1. How many people, and are they traveling together?
Up to three: a sedan. Four to seven: the V-Class. Eight or more: a minibus or two vehicles. But “together” is the key word. Two partners landing on different flights are two sedans, not one minivan waiting two hours at the airport.
2. How much luggage, and what kind?
This is where most mistakes happen. Three people with a carry-on each travel comfortably in an E-Class. Three people with two large suitcases each do not. Luggage decides the vehicle more often than the headcount, so we ask for the number and size of bags in every enquiry.
3. Who is the passenger and what is the occasion?
An employee heading to the airport and a company owner arriving to sign a contract do not have the same requirements, even though the trip is identical. The first needs a reliable, comfortable car. The second also needs the impression, the privacy and the protocol of the welcome. That is not vanity, it is attention to the guest, and that attention comes at different prices.
One thing holds for every class. All our vehicles are black, and the chauffeur always wears a black suit, white shirt and tie, whether he is driving the Superb or the S-Class. So the basic impression is there in every vehicle. The only question is how far above that baseline the occasion asks you to go.
A fourth question comes up only with the larger vehicles: where the vehicle has to stop. A hotel underground garage, a narrow street in the city center or the parking area in front of an office building decides whether the V-Class and the Sprinter can reach the door at all.

Škoda Superb: the black sedan that surprises many passengers
The Superb is the most affordable vehicle you can book with us and, at the same time, the one that most often surprises passengers in a good way. The reason is the back seat. The Superb has more rear legroom than the Mercedes E-Class. We see it every day in the cars we run, and passengers over 190 cm notice the difference the moment they get in.
Luggage space is another advantage. The Superb holds 625 to 645 liters, depending on the generation, while the E-Class holds around 540. In practice that is usually three large suitcases plus carry-ons, without stacking anything on the back seat. Our Superbs are black, no more than six years old, and the chauffeur is the same as in a Mercedes: black suit, white shirt, tie and the same working protocol. From the outside, a guest sees a black sedan and a man in a suit opening the door, not a car model.
What is it missing? The star on the hood. The Superb does not send the signal a Mercedes sends, and when a guest expects that signal, there is no point in saving. Sound insulation and the feel on the road are also a class below, though a passenger on a 25-minute ride to the airport rarely notices.
When the Superb is the right choice
- Employee rides to and from the airport, especially early morning and late evening.
- Internal transport between offices, plants and the city.
- Longer trips across Serbia with plenty of luggage, since the trunk beats the E-Class.
- When a company has a monthly transport budget and wants a reliable car below the E-Class rate.
In the same class and price range we also run a VW Passat of the same age, with the same seating and a similar trunk. For the passenger the difference is small, but if it matters to you that it is a Superb, say so in your enquiry.

Mercedes E-Class: the safe default for business guests
The E-Class is the vehicle we suggest for most enquiries and the one you are least likely to regret. It makes a professional impression without looking over the top, and it has room for three passengers and their luggage. If you do not know who will be sitting in the car, the E-Class is the safe choice.
The numbers: about 4.9 meters long, a trunk of around 540 liters in the standard versions, which is two large suitcases and two carry-ons. The back seat is comfortable for two, and a third passenger can sit in front next to the chauffeur. If all three want to sit together and talk on a longer trip, the V-Class is more comfortable. Our E-Class cars are 2019 to 2024 models, black, with Wi-Fi and bottled water on board.
Where it loses to the Superb: rear legroom and trunk. Where it wins: a quieter cabin, interior quality and what a passenger feels when the door closes. For guests arriving from Vienna, Frankfurt or Milan, the E-Class is a car they already know and feel at home in.
When the E-Class is the right choice
- Meeting a business partner or client at the airport.
- Daily hire for meetings around town, with the chauffeur waiting between locations.
- Management on a business trip, in Belgrade or beyond.
- Any situation where the guest expects a Mercedes and an S-Class would be too much.

Mercedes S-Class: when the passenger matters more than any logistics
You do not choose the S-Class for passenger capacity or luggage space. You choose it when the way someone arrives sends a message, or when the passenger wants a level of comfort and privacy the E-Class does not offer. A board member arriving to sign, a minister, an investor, a keynote speaker at a conference. For that guest the S-Class is not a cost, it is part of the protocol.
The difference from the E-Class is noticeable. The S-Class is 20 to 30 centimeters longer, depending on the version, and most of that length goes to the rear passengers. The cabin is quieter, the rear seats have more adjustment, and the ride is softer. The trunk of 530 to 550 liters is similar to the E-Class, so two large suitcases and one carry-on.
Two things we tell everyone who asks for an S-Class. First, it technically takes three passengers, but the real experience is for one or two in the back. If three passengers want to sit together in the rear passenger area and talk during the journey, the V-Class is more practical. Second, the S-Class costs considerably more than the E-Class. For a routine transfer that difference rarely makes sense. It makes sense when extra comfort, privacy or protocol is part of the brief, or when the ride is a guest’s first impression of your company.
When the S-Class is the right choice
- Welcoming your most important guests: board members, investors, government officials.
- A car on standby all day for a keynote speaker or a director.
- A gala dinner, an awards night or a company anniversary, where a chauffeur service for special occasions is part of the evening’s program.
- When the guest asks for an S-Class. Some clients ask for it out of habit, and there is no debate.

Mercedes V-Class: the minivan that does not feel like a van
The V-Class solves a problem a sedan cannot: four or more people traveling together who want to talk on the way. The seats in the passenger compartment can be set to face each other, so you get a small meeting on wheels. Teams we drive to meetings outside Belgrade often use the time on the road to prepare, instead of sitting split across two sedans.
We run two configurations. The six-passenger configuration is the more luxurious one, with more room per person, and we suggest it whenever the headcount allows. The seven-passenger configuration is the choice when the number of passengers is decisive. Luggage depends on the version: with every seat taken, the V-Class holds 610 to 1,410 liters, which is usually four to six large suitcases in the longer versions. Sliding doors make it easy to get in wearing a suit or carrying a bag. The height is about 1.9 meters, so it fits most garages but not all of them. If it is picking you up at a hotel, we check the ramp beforehand.
There is also a scenario many people overlook: two passengers with a lot of luggage. A couple traveling for a month, a team with equipment for a trade fair stand, or a guest with three large suitcases and garment bags. For them the V-Class is the better fit than the S-Class, even though there are only two of them. Our V-Class vehicles are 2024 to 2026 models and are booked as a minivan with a driver for up to 7 passengers. For simpler jobs we also have an older Mercedes Vito at a lower rate.
When the V-Class is the right choice
- A team of 4 to 7 at a meeting, trade fair or seminar.
- A management team or a small delegation that wants to travel together and talk on the way.
- Two or three passengers with four or more large suitcases.
- The family of a business guest traveling with them to Belgrade.

Mercedes Sprinter: the minibus for delegations of up to 19
Once a group passes seven people, you have two options: one Sprinter or two V-Class minivans. For groups of 8 to 12, both work. Two V-Class vehicles cost more, but they can collect people from two addresses at once and are easier to park in the center. One Sprinter is cheaper and more logical when everyone leaves from the same address. For 13 to 19 passengers on the same schedule, one Sprinter is usually the most rational choice, because the whole group departs and arrives together.
Our Sprinter is a 2024 minibus with 19 passenger seats, a separate luggage compartment, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. It is the vehicle we use for government delegations and for hotel-to-venue shuttles, where one vehicle running in shifts replaces five sedans.
What the Sprinter cannot do: enter most hotel underground garages or fit into a regular parking space. It is about 2.6 to 2.8 meters tall and around 7 meters long, depending on the version. That is why we check before every job where it can stop in front of a hotel, restaurant or office building, and why we ask for the minibus to be booked earlier than a car. It is booked as a minibus with a driver for groups of up to 19, the same way as our other vehicles, with the pickup points agreed in advance.
When the Sprinter is the right choice
- Delegations, foreign partners or a team of 8 to 19 leaving from the same address.
- Hotel-to-venue shuttles during a conference, in several runs.
- Team building and one-day company trips outside Belgrade.
- More than 19 passengers: several vehicles or a coach for up to 53.
A quick decision table
The suitcase counts in the table are indicative. We confirm the final capacity against the size of your luggage, the number of passengers and the specific vehicle we send.

employees, internal rides, budget main limitation: no Mercedes badge |
| Mercedes E-Class | up to 3 passengers 2 large + 2 carry-ons |
guests, partners, daily meetings main limitation: less rear legroom than the Superb |
| Mercedes S-Class | up to 3 (ideally 1 or 2) 2 large + 1 carry-on |
executives, VIP guests, formal events main limitation: price when protocol is not part of the brief |
| Mercedes V-Class | up to 7 (six-passenger luxury configuration) 4 to 6 large suitcases |
teams, meetings on the move, lots of luggage main limitation: height for some garages |
| Mercedes Sprinter | up to 19 passengers separate luggage compartment |
delegations, shuttles, day trips main limitation: will not fit most underground garages |
Five real situations and what we would suggest
A foreign partner lands at 10:40 p.m. and signs a contract the next morning
E-Class, or S-Class if it is the owner or a board member. The chauffeur tracks the flight, waits with a name sign in the arrivals hall and drives the guest straight to the hotel. This is a classic transfer from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and the most common business ride we do.
Five executives going to a full-day meeting in Novi Sad
The six-passenger V-Class with the seats facing each other. They travel together, prepare on the way, the chauffeur waits all day and brings them back in the evening. Two E-Class sedans would split them up and cost more.
A delegation of 16 for a two-day congress at Sava Centar
A Sprinter for the hotel-to-venue shuttle, plus one S or E-Class on standby for the head of delegation, who has a schedule of their own. One contact person on your side, one dispatcher on ours.
Three employees with one suitcase each on a 6 a.m. flight
The Superb. Nobody is meeting them, three medium suitcases and carry-ons fit in the trunk, the chauffeur in a suit and tie is the same as in a Mercedes, and the company pays less.
A gala dinner and an awards ceremony, a director and their spouse
The S-Class. Arriving and leaving in front of the venue is part of the evening, and the chauffeur stays on standby for the agreed time. Any extension and the extra charge are agreed in advance, so there are no surprises at the end of the night.
The mistakes we see most often in enquiries
- Counting only passengers. Three people with six large suitcases cannot travel in one E-Class, even though the seat count fits. That is why we check luggage together with the headcount.
- The S-Class for routine logistics. The most expensive vehicle for a transfer where extra comfort and protocol are not part of the brief. Take the E-Class or the Superb and keep the difference for the booking where those elements matter.
- A Sprinter without a parking plan. A hotel having a garage does not mean the minibus can use it. We check the access and the pickup point in advance.
- “Any car.” When you do not tell us who is traveling, you get a vehicle that fits the headcount, not the occasion.
- Booking larger vehicles late. A sedan is easier to find at short notice. In the conference season, the V-Class and the Sprinter should be requested earlier.
What to send us so we can suggest the right vehicle
- Number of passengers and whether they travel together or from different addresses.
- Number and size of suitcases, plus anything unusual: garment bags, equipment, gifts.
- Who the passenger is and what the occasion is: internal transport, a guest, a delegation, a formal event.
- Addresses and timings, including the flight number if an airport is involved.
- Whether the vehicle needs to wait, and for how many hours, or whether it is a one-way ride.
- Company details if you need a pro forma invoice and a VAT invoice.
With that, you get a flat-rate quote for every vehicle class that fits the request, and you choose between the Superb, the E-Class and the rest. If we think the vehicle you asked for does not suit the occasion, we will tell you before you book, not on the day of the ride.
Frequently asked questions
How many passengers fit in an E-Class with a chauffeur?
Up to three. For comfortable work or conversation on the way, two in the back is best, and a third passenger can sit in front next to the chauffeur. If three passengers want to sit together in the rear passenger area and talk during the journey, the V-Class is more practical.
Is the Škoda Superb a suitable choice for business guests?
For employees, internal rides and most business partners, yes: a black sedan, a chauffeur in a black suit with a white shirt and tie, and the same service standard as in a Mercedes. When a guest expects a Mercedes or the welcome is part of the protocol, we suggest the E or S-Class.
When does it make sense to pay for the S-Class instead of the E-Class?
When extra comfort, privacy or protocol is part of the brief: a board member, an investor, an official, or a guest for whom the ride is the first impression of your company. For routine transfers, the E-Class or the Superb give the same reliability for less money.
How much luggage fits in the V-Class with every seat taken?
Roughly four to six large suitcases plus carry-ons, depending on the version. If a group of six or seven is traveling with large suitcases for a longer stay, send us the number of pieces and we will check whether everything fits or a second vehicle is needed.
Can the Sprinter get to a hotel with an underground garage?
We check access to the entrance and whether the garage is usable for each specific building and vehicle. The minibus is about 2.6 to 2.8 meters tall, so boarding is usually arranged in front of the building or at the nearest spot where a vehicle of that size can stop. We settle this before the job, not on the spot.
Can we combine several vehicles for the same event?
Yes. For congresses and delegations we often run a Sprinter for the group and an S or E-Class for the executives who have a separate schedule. One dispatcher coordinates every vehicle, and you have one contact person.
Not sure which vehicle to book? Send us the number of passengers, the luggage and the occasion, and we will suggest the class that fits both the occasion and the budget. Request a quote and you will have a flat rate before you confirm anything.
